Is that a baby?

When we go to the store, Raleigh seems to look for babies, balls and balloons and point them out to us. There weren't many of any of those at the liquor store today. So, Raleigh got really excited when he saw this--he pointed to it and said "baby". :)

We knew Raleigh could identify real babies, pictures of babies and drawings of babies all as being "babies." We think it's awesome he saw this other large-headed bald creature and seemed to think it was a baby.

Toddler

Raleigh joined the toddler class at school last week. He's not walking more than five steps at a time, usually, but they let him join so he could be reunited with many of his old friends. Raleigh's day is very different as a toddler. He eats breakfast at home (because breakfast is already over by the time we get him to school). To eat, he sits at a short little table with toddler-sized chairs instead of in a high chair and eats off plates. He has one nap/day and sleeps on a mat instead of in a crib. He even has two recesses outside every day!

We think Raleigh enjoys being a toddler.

Oh--and Raleigh has a school uniform now, too!
