Petting the Goats

Raleigh doesn't really like being near live animals--not even our rescue cats (though he likes to see them--from mama or dada height). But yesterday at the zoo, mom watched as he wondered off from the playground to the goat area. He evidently made a u-turn after the video ends and was brushing the goats when I went to meet him.

Dad wanted to hear about the goats at dinner, but the only news was "Connor brushed the goats." Raleigh did, too! Yeah for Raleigh!

Pretending We're a Dog

For about four months now, Raleigh has been pretending he's a dog. Sometimes it's useful because if we tell the doggy to go somewhere, he is usually so focused on staying in character that he doesn't get distracted by other things. Other times, he eats off the floor...

Spring Break

Raleigh is on spring break this week. What does a 23 month old do on spring break? Why go to a foam party, of course.




Don't no why it didn't post first time I tried, but now here's the rest of the story....

Right after the foam party, I was trying to get him in his seat and he said he needed to go. Well, the closest bathroom was at least 5 min away. So, like any good mom, I let him pee in the parking garage next to our car. Yup, first public urination.

Raleigh has been asking for the park with the bubbles since and the next day when dad got home and asked him what he did, Raleigh said "I made a peepee in the car place."
